This conference is designed to provide primary care practitioners with up-to-date, evidence-based information on commonly encountered issues in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine while suggesting pragmatic approaches to clinical management. The discussion-based format of the conference will encourage audience participation through dynamic lectures, case-based studies, and hands-on workshops. Canadian Healthcare professionals in other specialties need to verify with their licensing board the reciprocal credit agreement with the AAFP.

Resort Fee: Please note that fees and service charges are not included in the above rates. There is an additional $25.00 per room daily charge to cover Resort Services such as Housekeeping, Fitness Center, Pool Facilities, Internet in guestrooms and meeting space, overnight self-parking, and Resort Offerings. MCE Conferences shall be solely responsible for informing attendees of these charges and that they are separate and distinct from the room rate and taxes. - Cancellation made 45 days or more prior to arrival: A full refund will be issued.
- Cancellation 45 days or less prior to arrival: No refunds will be issued.
- No-shows and early departures are considered a cancellation: No refunds will be issued.

Airport Information – Alyeska Resort is located just 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska in the town of Girdwood. Convenient access is available at the modern Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. From the airport, you can take the scenic Seward Highway heading south. The Seward Highway was voted America’s Most Outstanding Scenic Byway by Scenic America, a national conservation organization, in 1995 and by the US Department of Transportation in 2000. The Seward Highway follows along the Turnagain Arm with many interpretative rest stops and view points. Depending on the season, it is not unusual to spot beluga whales or Dall sheep from your car window. Take the highway and look for signs to Girdwood, the home of Alyeska Resort. You will take a left-hand turn onto Alyeska Highway and continue down the road for three miles. When you come to a “T” intersection – turn left and go one mile for Alyeska Resort. To get to Alyeska Resort’s Daylodge and base area, turn right at the “T”.
There are several transportation options from the Anchorage airport to the Alyeska resort in Girdwood:

- Take a train to Girdwood, then the local Girdwood transit. It is a 15-20 minute taxi/uber ride in Anchorage from the airport to the train depot in Anchorage.
